Philosophy
I’m working towards making this site a part of the IndieWeb. I believe in having a place to own my own data outside of centralized platforms. And I want to be able to share that place with others!
No AI is used in any writing on this site, unless specifically stated for the purpose of discussing its outputs. I do, however, use AI tools for developing site features.
Tech
Source code is available in the GitHub repository.
This site is created using Astro. Content is stored in plain text files. It requires no client side JavaScript.
CSS styles are processed with PostCSS, for autoprefixing and removing variables. Normalize CSS is used as a base and syntax highlighting uses the Atelier color scheme (provided by PrismJS).
Most text uses the FigTree font by Erik Kennedy. Headers use the Electrolize font by Gaslight.
Icons are from FontAwesome. They are packaged into a webfont using svgtofont.
Background is from Subtle Patterns designed by Myriam Lefebvre.
